Facial Reflexology

Facial Reflexology is a method of stimulation of reflex points on the face. Sharing the same principles as Foot Reflexology, Face Reflexology works to identify imbalances within the body and then aims to rebalance through using a planned sequence of techniques. The facial muscles and nerve endings are stimulated and re-invigorated by the practitioners hands and fingers, this relieves tension and opens up the energy (Chinese Meridian) channels throughout the body.

The face is one of the areas most richly supplied with nerves and blood vessels. Facial Reflexology is a non-invasive treatment and is based on the theory that areas on your face are connected to areas and systems of your body. By stimulating them it will help to re-balance any underlying energy imbalances and therefore promoting wellbeing.

Facial Reflexology may make your face and skin feel and look smoother and more toned. It also stimulates the facial nerves, increases blood flow and muscle tone, encourages lymphatic drainage and helps to build up new skin tissue and improves skin tone.

Facial Reflexology is usually given while the client lies on a massage couch and remains fully clothed.

It is very effective when combined with a foot Reflexology Lymph Drainage sequence.
