Auricular therapy work is well researched and has been acknowledged for its effectiveness in helping with problems such as physical and emotional pain. Clients receive this therapy either sitting or lying and it can also be incorporated into facial reflexology treatment.

It is similar to auricular acupuncture, but does not use needles. The therapist uses finger and thumb pressure, an auricular therapy probe can be used and also the use of seeds taped to points on the ear to continue working an area once the client leaves the therapy room.
